The HELI-GRIP insert is equipped with a unique chipformer for optimal chip flow and chip formation in both axial and radial directions. It combines a number of proven designs into one highly versatile insert.
The Unique Twisted Geometry
The revolutionary double-ended, twisted body of the HELI-GRIP insert makes it possible to machine to depths much deeper than the length of the insert itself. As the insert penetrates deeply into the workpiece, it avoids back side contact with the machined groove surface due to its slanted rear angle in relation to the frontal edge.
A Single Insert for a Wide Range of Tools and Applications
Turning between walls is simplified. There is no longer any need for both left-and right-hand holders. The new HELI-GRIP insert can be mounted on the holders you are already using - both DO-GRIP and HELIFACE, as well as on new holders.
