ISCAR is introducing new revolutionary, multifunction solid carbide tools for the PASSPORT Line.
The new tools, designated
PICCO MF
, will especially benefit the miniature parts industries by reducing their tooling costs.
The PICCOMF was designed in particular for use on Swiss-type machines and all other machines that produce miniature parts.
This family of tools provides a unique cutting geometry and machining abilities that combine the work of a few tools into one.
PICCOMF includes two types of tools for different applications
the MF Multi-Function and the MFT Multi-Function with Threading.
MF (Multi-Function)
The MF tools are designed for all of the following applications:
Drilling
Face Turning
Internal Chamfering
Internal Turning /Boring
Internal Profiling
External Chamfering
External Turning
MFT (Multi-Function &Threading)
The MFT tools perform all of the following applications:
Drilling
Face Turning
Internal Chamfering
Internal Turning /Boring
Internal Profiling
Internal 60 ° Threading
(right-and left-hand)
External Chamfering
External Turning
External 60 ° Threading
(right-and left-hand)
The PICCOMF line is available in diameters of 4, 5, 6 ,7 and 8 mm with a depth of cut ratio of two and three times the diameter.
All tools are available with both the left- and right-hand options.
Each is produced in ISCARs latest IC908 grade, which is a submicron carbide substrate with TiAlN coating to provide maximum performance and reliability.
Each tool is provided with a special external ground slot to direct the coolant flow to the cutting edge.
